Bands: Icon of Coil, Combichrist, Panzer AG, Sector9, Scandinavian Cock

Andy’s most famous for his band Combichrist, however his original project that put him on the top charts in Germany/Norway was Icon of Coil. Combichrist has made top 5 of billboard’s Dance charts.

Having been in many vocal positions before, one of them a hardcore metal band, Andy decided to create various side projects. One of which, Icon of Coil (1997), then spurred on Combichrist (2003), which led to a combination of the two; Panzer AG (2004).

He’s an odd person to follow. Seems somewhat ADD-ish to me, but all is well. Combichrist is probably one of my all time favorite aggro-tech bands. Icon of Coil is great too. Particularly, I enjoy his mental insanity on the stage, in the press and videos as well as the music itself. Andy simply brings something different to the table.

Also……I have a huge thing for Nazi paraphernalia and gas masks. He incorporates these well into his shows videos and music. If it’s not blatant, it’s at least subtle.
